Burgess Hill Family Funeral Services, based in Burgess Hill, West Sussex, recently took delivery of a brand new Pilato Jaguar GrandAurora and used Jaguar limousine from Superior UK Automotive Ltd, both painted in the firm’s trademark blue metallic.
This family-run independent firm was founded 13 years ago in Burgess Hill, West Sussex, by husband and wife team Tim and Lyn Radmall. Having worked in the funeral industry since the 1980s, the pair set up for themselves in 2006.
In 2014, their son Dominic, who was 17 at the time, started working in the business part-time. His passion for supporting and caring for families quickly grew, leading him to embrace a career in funerals. After 12 years of service, he has taken the helm of the family business, continuing the tradition of genuine care and dedication in serving bereaved families.
Dominic explains why the family chose Superior UK for their first brand-new fleet vehicle and why the Pilato Jaguar GrandAurora is a perfect fit for their business.
Dominic commented, ‘When the business first started, we hired vehicles from Carriage Masters, we then bought a second-hand fleet of Ford vehicles in 2017. When we decided to upgrade and order our first brand-new hearse, we did our research. These vehicles represent a significant investment for our small family business and must be right for us and the families we serve.’
He added, ‘My father and I have always been Jaguar fans, and when we saw the Pilato GrandAurora on Superior’s stand at NFE, it really stood out. We loved the stylish, futuristic shape, and the build quality and craftsmanship were excellent—the best we’d seen.’
Tim, Lyn & Dominic soon had their own stunning new GrandAurora on order and decided a Jaguar limousine was a must-have. Superior’s Jon Helm sourced a pristine, low-mileage Jaguar limousine and painted it in ‘Audi Navarra Blue’ to perfectly match the new hearse.’
Dominic commented, ‘Superior’s ability to enhance an already beautiful, classy vehicle is remarkable. We were overjoyed when Jon delivered the vehicles, and the positive feedback we’ve received has been overwhelming. We couldn’t be happier with our new fleet.’
