Immaculate used Vito removal vehicle a firm favourite for A.J. Coggles

A.J. Coggles, established in 1851, is one of the largest independent family funeral directors in Norfolk – for over 170 years the Coggles family have proudly served the community through five generations. Today, the popular and well-respected funeral firm is run by John Coggles and his children David, Helen and George.

The family business has recently expanded from three branches in Kings Lynne, Downham Market and Wisbech to four with their newest branch in Hunstanton. David Coggles, Head Funeral Director, explains how this year has been a busy and exciting time for the firm.

“We have just opened a new larger branch in Downham Market as we outgrew the space we had previously”, said David, “we also took over a local firm in Hunstanton giving us a brand new branch – this expansion meant we needed more vehicles to cover the area”.

The Coggles family needed an additional removal vehicle to add to their existing fleet but found it difficult to find what they were looking for in the current climate. “We searched to no avail for a quality used removal vehicle and eventually decided to put out a plea on social media,” said David “we were relieved when we received a call from Jon Helm at Superior UK saying he could help”.

When David took delivery of a used silver Vito in May he was delighted, “we were astonished at how immaculate it was, it was flawless inside and out and looked new”, said David, “the decking system is superb – smooth, functional and very easy to use. We have Ford Transits and the build quality of the deck in this Vito is far superior”.

The Vito has fitted in very well with the team at A.J. Coggles, although it is not the newest removal vehicle in the Coggles fleet it has become the favoured choice of vehicle for the firms’ drivers. David commented, “Being so easy to use and comfortable to drive it is the first choice on the job for our drivers so they try to hold on to it when they can”.

For Coggles, the addition of a Superior UK Vito is the first time the family have experienced Superior UK’s used vehicle service and their feedback was first-rate. “From first contact to delivery we felt we were given the same attention as customers buying brand new – the service was spot on,” said David.
